For instance, cortisol is a stress hormone, and when you exercise the level of this hormone decreases and more happy hormones or endorphins are released instead. In addition, exercise can improve the quality of sleep you have and give you the confidence boost you have been looking for! There are a variety of physical activities to choose from. Choose an activity you truly enjoy such as dancing, rock climbing, swimming or running and you will find yourself less stressed out!

Massages are highly effective in reducing stress levels. For instance, massages help in lowering stress by decreasing the heart rate, releasing endorphins and providing muscle relaxation. There are many types of massages you can receive. Two of the most popular ones are remedial massage versus myotherapy. Both massages help in treating muscle pains, tension and injuries. However, a remedial massage is more suitable for a person struggling with depression or anxiety and myotherapy is better suited for an individual with problems related to stress.

3.      Write

Grab your notebook and start scribbling all your thoughts down. This can help you compartmentalize your thoughts and put them in order when it feels like you are having too much going on in your mind. Coffee is known for having a high dose of caffeine. Caffeine is known to be a stimulant which can elevate anxiety and stress. It is better to drastically reduce your caffeine intake, especially if you are struggling emotionally and mentally.
